We have been dedicated to serving our community members in Linn, Benton and Lincoln Counties, with select services in Polk County, for over 40 years. Learn more about CSC and our impact below.

CSC Services

Impacting change for 40 years...

Established in 1980, we currently have a team of over 200 passionate staff, hundreds community partners, programs and locations spanning 4 counties, receive more than 300,000 volunteer hours, and serve over 75,000 community members annually.

CSC is supported by federal, state, and local funds, as well as private grants and donations. Our oversight consists of a Governing Board of local elected officials, and a Community Action Advisory Council comprised of diverse community members, both of which we report to and collaborate with on a regular basis.

We believe people are capable of great things when offered the proper tools. We treat each client with dignity and respect and offer a supportive setting where each person learns and develops new skills.

We provide a suite of wrap-around services to meet basic needs and achieve long-term goals, with the focus of building stability in the communities we serve. Serving tens of thousands individuals, we invest over $20 million in direct services every year! Whether you need one-time assistance today, or long-term support for tomorrow, CSC is here to help.

CSC is proud to be a part of a national network of over 1,000 Community Action Agencies, and a statewide network of 17 in Oregon, dedicated to helping people help themselves and each other, building strong, resilient communities. Watch the video to learn more.

The lobby is very clean, and the lady at the window is a sweetheart. The staff are very helpful, even if you don't meet the criteria for their program, they will give you other resources and places in the community that could help or point you in the direction on the path you need. It's most definitely a 5-star experience.
